徐后國，男，1984年9月生，于2013年6月獲中國海洋大學水產養殖博士學位，現任黃海水產研究所食品工程與營養研究室副主任、研究員，博士生導師。主要從事水產動物營養與飼料、魚類脂肪酸代謝、親體營養生理等方面的研究，發表論文100余篇，其中，以第一及通訊作者發表SCI論文70余篇（單篇最高影響因子15.135）。獲國家發明專利10余項。獲海洋科學技術二等獎1項。
入選國家萬人計劃-青年拔尖人才、山東省泰山學者-青年專家、江蘇省雙創人才、中國水產科學研究院“水科英才-領軍人才”；中國水產科學研究院“海水養殖動物營養生理與代謝調控”創新團隊首席科學家。主持國家重點研發計劃項目、國家海水魚體系“河鲀營養需求與飼料”崗位科學家、山東省優秀青年基金、國家自然科學基金面上項目等課題。
現任《Aquaculture Nutrition》、《Aquaculture Research》、《Fishes》期刊編輯；《Fish Physiology and Biochemistry》客座編輯；全國飼料評審委員會委員；中國水產學會水產動物營養與飼料專業委員會委員；中國水產學會生物餌料專業委員會委員；全國動物營養指導委員會水產動物營養分會秘書。
現任上海海洋大學、中國海洋大學、中國農業大學、中國農業科學院、大連海洋大學、浙江海洋大學、天津農學院、江蘇海洋大學、青島科技大學及河北農業大學研究生導師。
