Achievement Introduction:


From the end of the 1950s, the project carried out the study on the prawn population dynamics. It systematically and comprehensively revealed the fishery biology characteristics, spatial distribution, and population dynamics of prawn. It is a practical achievement in the research of population dynamics in China. The main contents were as follows: 1. Found out the coupled relationship between prawn spatial distribution and changes of water temperature, salinity, tide, bottom sediment, bedforms, forage species, feed abundance and meteorological factor in the Bohai Sea and Yellow Sea. 2. Figured out the prawn breeding and feeding habits, growth, death and recruitment pattern and laws, stock-recruitment relationship, environment factors affecting the recruitment and stock dynamics characteristics and laws. Using juvenile prawn relative abundance indictor to set up forecast model,the model accurately forecasted the autumn fishing season of prawn under the condition that the environmental factors and the recruitment of prawn vary greatly in Bohai Sea. The forecast method was scientific and easy to operate with high accuracy and precision. 4. Set up prawn stock assessment mathematical model, estimated the fishery biological parameter, researched the effects of fishing on population dynamics characteristics, put forward different management objectives and corresponding strategies and measures of prawn fishery. 5. Demonstrated the interspecific relationship of Bohai Sea fishery resources, feed foundation and the ecological capacity of prawn stock. Provided scientific proof for prawn proliferation and releasing in Bohai Sea.
