Division of Maricultural Organism Disease Control and Molecular Pathology
Aiming at resolving main disease problems in mariculture, the division undertakes the state and ministerial major basic, applied basic, and technology research programs, to explore original knowledge, to create high technology, to incubate new talent, and to provide theoretical base and technological support for sustainable mariculture. The laboratory’s activities are concerned with the technological foundation of surveillance and diagnosis for maricultural organism diseases, the occurring mechanism of maricultural organism diseases and the blocking technology, also engage in the immunological principle and application of disease-resistance of maricultural animals, the fundamental theory and technology of microbiological control for maricultural health management.
